Making a Reservation and Buying Tickets
We are taking reservations beginning January 3rd! You can email us at lcecvirginia@gmail.com to request a reservation, or call 434-996-7282 and leave a message. When we are leading hikes and tours, we are not available to answer the phone, but we will get back to you as soon as we are off the trail.
We sell tickets for special events through our Eventbrite landing page https://lewisandclarkexploratorycenter.eventbrite.com where you can go to check out all what’s extra on offer, with detailed descriptions and our scheduled times. If you don’t see a time that suits you for that activity, please email us at lcecvirginia@gmail.com. We are happy to make a reservation for a private tour for your group.

(Note: Except for scheduled public hours, we are currently open by reservation and advanced ticket purchase only! During reservations, we have an entrance gate which will not be open for automobiles outside of reserved ticketholders and/or school field trips and their buses.)
Take the 250 Bypass on Pantops in Charlottesville, go North on Stony Point Road .8th of a mile, and then take a left on Elk Drive. Follow Elk Drive into Darden Towe Park .4th of a mile. Once through the park entrance, take a left. Keep on that road along the Rivanna River until you reach our red gate. We will be waiting for you or the gate will be open, depending on the reservation or event! You will then drive up the hill to the Lewis & Clark Exploratory Center and our parking lot.
